Party Booking and Attendee Registration

I am looking for online booking software that integrates with WP and
allows an initial person to book a party from a list of available party
types and pay a deposit to reserve the event time/location (currently 1
resource). I want that slot to appear as taken on the calendar so I do not
'double-book' the slot, but I need to be able to allow other people who
are coming to the event to sign up and pay their registration fee.
The event management plug-ins I have seen manage the participant
registration nicely, but the event information is public (I would prefer
private pages with logins generated for each booked party, but would
settle for no online information except the party name and the option to
book your spot at the party) and there is no way for a user to create/book
their own event (based on available time slots in a calendar). The booking
calendars I have seen don't allow multiple registrants for a single
booking.
